Context

The client is a European HR tech startup headquartered in Poland, operating at the intersection of technology and social impact. The company develops digital solutions that enable organizations to implement pay equity practices and build more inclusive, fair workplaces.

Objective

Rensai Labs’ mission was clear: turn a stalled MVP into a production-ready SaaS platform with AI-powered analytics ready for the European market.

Tasks

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit and redesign of user flows, eliminate critical friction points during data upload and initial processing stages.
  • Design an AI-powered module that converts raw gender pay gap analysis into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop a custom UI kit in Storybook and implement an MVVM architecture, enabling the client’s in-house backend team to scale the product without compromising interface integrity.
  • Build real-time monitoring tools to track compliance with the 5% pay gap threshold and automatically generate audit-ready ESG reports.

Methodology

The project ran on a tightly coordinated model: Rensai Labs owned design and frontend, while the client’s in-house team handled the Go-based backend. The teams aligned around Kanban, keeping development continuous, fast-moving, and free of bottlenecks.

Project Roadmap

Current State Assessment: The team conducted a deep audit of the MVP and identified critical flaws in the interface logic that prevented users from completing core actions, such as uploading data.
