Context

The client is one of the leading IT integrators and official 1C partner in Uzbekistan, operating in the business automation market since 2016. In addition to IT solutions, the company also runs cross-border logistics, handling oversized cargo between Uzbekistan and China.

Objective

The goal was to modernize the client’s logistics infrastructure by building a scalable freight management platform and replacing legacy software that had begun to limit operational capabilities.

  • Digitize freight search and booking through a tender platform where carriers compete for orders.
  • Replace the unstable application with a fault-tolerant platform supporting 500+ concurrent users.
  • Provide a direct communication channel with drivers through a mobile solution.
  • Create a system the client’s in-house team can maintain and scale independently.

Methodology

Rensai Labs chose Scrum so that the client could see every step of the development process in real time. Regular functionality demonstrations ensured full transparency and allowed the client to quickly adjust the process when needed.

Key Technological and Business Barriers

The system architecture did not allow new features to be implemented quickly. For example, it was impossible to integrate local payment systems (WeChat Pay, Alipay) or cargo tracking services.

Solution

Rensai Labs built a hybrid infrastructure consisting of a multifunctional web interface for office staff and a mobile PWA application for drivers. The platform became a bridge between Uzbek suppliers and Chinese carriers, supporting the key languages used in the region (including Uyghur).

Choosing a PWA was a strategic decision. It gave drivers instant access to the platform without requiring an app installation and simplified updates in field conditions with unstable internet connectivity. The mobile application automatically filters available shipments based on the driver’s current location and vehicle parameters.

Step 1

The new platform replaced phone-based communication with a single digital tracking system. Managers can now see not only the request status but also the history of calls and operator notes, eliminating information gaps and manual errors.

Step 2

Rensai Labs designed the role structure of the Manzil system to reflect the entire logistics chain, across three groups of users: suppliers, carriers, and a technical SuperAdmin role. A structured request status model (from “Draft” to “Completed”) ensures full control over the transportation lifecycle.

Step 3

Role Structure of the Manzil Platform

User Group Role Key Functions
Supplier Administrator Organization management and access rights control
Supplier Dispatcher Creating transportation requests
Supplier Operator Processing carriers’ responses and recording negotiations
Supplier Manager Selecting the tender winner
Carriers Transport Company Submitting proposals and managing the vehicle fleet
Carriers Driver Searching for requests and participating in tenders via PWA
Technical Role SuperAdmin System administration and monitoring

Key Features

A digital tender marketplace built for cross-border logistics between Uzbekistan and China.

  • Competitive auctions with support for bids in USD and CNY, with filtering by price and vehicle specifications.
  • Transparent approval workflow – a multi-level role model that records all actions and verbal agreements for auditing.
  • Location-Aware PWA – automatically filters shipments by the driver’s location and vehicle parameters.
  • Multilingual interface – full support for Russian, Chinese, and Uyghur.
  • Response automation – push and email notifications inform carriers about new requests or tender wins within seconds.

Full support for Russian, Chinese, and Uyghur removes communication barriers between all participants in international transportation.

Results

The platform passed official technical verification and was positively evaluated by the client’s Operations Director. New integrations, including WeChat Pay, Alipay, and cargo tracking, can be added without modifying the platform’s core, and the client’s engineering team can maintain and extend the system independently.
